The Osmounity SmartLine pre-filter set offers reliable and efficient pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems and water filtration systems. The set consists of a 2.5-inch sediment filter and a 2.5-inch carbon block filter, ensuring significantly improved water quality and optimal protection for subsequent filter stages and membranes.
Sediment filters – effective removal of suspended solids
The sediment filter is designed for water filtration up to 25 °C and reliably removes:
sand
mud
Rust particles
Suspended solids
suspended solids from drinking water
Thanks to its high dirt absorption capacity and low pressure loss, the flow rate remains stable.
The filter material consists of 100% pure polypropylene and is:
surfactant-free
free from resin binders
free of lubricants
free from antistatic or release agents
without chemical additives
Carbon block filter – clean water without odor or taste
The carbon block filter is designed for cold water filtration up to 25 °C and is ideally suited as a pre- or post-filter in reverse osmosis systems.
It effectively reduces:
organochlorine substances (VOCs)
certain pesticides
Chlorine taste and smell
The carbon block filter thus ensures noticeably cleaner tasting water and reliably protects sensitive membranes from chemical contamination.
